SPRING BREAK 2006
So RUN DOWN of everything I did for this spectacular spring break. the most ACTION-PACKED one I've ever had.
Friday, March 24th-I didn't go anywhere. I chilled at home, did a bit of homework. I talked on the phone with several people as well.
Saturday, March 25th- Snowshoeing in Kananaskis Country with Philip, David, Amber, Chris, Brad, Steph, Steve, Joel and Jacob. We saw a lynx. it was so fluffy. I then went to Banff with Philip and David, hoping to meet up with Alicia and the gang, but that didn't happen.
We got Greek food for dinner. I didn't really like it. There was lamb in it.
Firsts for the day: seeing a lynx, snowshoeing, greek food, lamb
Sunday, March 26th-Church was exciting. The sermon was "A New Way To Be Human VI". I worked on homework and relaxed for most of the day. Philip called me to plan our hiking trip.
Firsts for the day: I didn't have coffee at church for the first time this year.
Monday, March 27th-Philip picked me up at 8:17 am (he was 17 minutes late...but that doesn't seem to matter because we aren't dating). We hiked Prairie Mountain. The hike was from 9:30 to 6:00pm. I was tired, but nothing could have stopped me, not even a bear. After the hike, we came home, (yes, Philip with me) we had tacos for supper [oddly, the same meal we had the last time philip was over], and then after planning our hike for tuesday, we looked at photographs on my wall, then watched the first 20 minutes of Madagascar.
Firsts for the day: Reached my first mountain summit (2175 meters), first hike of the year, someone wet in my room just to look at pictures
Tuesday, March 28th-Philip and I left the house at 8 o'clock am. We hiked Porcupine creek. This was a much less difficult and strenuous hike, so I considered it QUITE relaxing compared to Monday's adventure. We were hiking from 10am until 3:30 pm. We returned to Philip's house, had chicken, rice and green beans for dinner, with some milk and cookies aswell. Then we did the dishes and played scrabble. I creamed him. it was great. then TV came along and about 10pm Phil drove me home. I called my mother.
Firsts of the day: saw 2 bald eagles, first ground squirrel of the year, and a coyote ripped in 2, 2 eskimo kisses (first of the year)
Wednesday, March 29th-I practiced my trumpet, called lauren, did homework, and Jenni called me to remind me about Grease. yay! it was a chill day. I also chomped carrots and spun around in circles...while on the phone...AT THE SAME TIME! now that takes skill... AND I practiced the piano for Harry Potter.nothing really to worry about.
Firsts of the day: I called Lauren (first time this year), and practiced the piano.
Thursday, March 30th-Courtney's house. I met Paul at Anderson, then wet met Courtney at Fish Creek and walked to her house. I SAW KRISTYN for the FIRST TIME since YOUTH COUNCILS. Simone was there also, and three of court's friends from school. I ate half a bag of All Dressed chips, 2 chocolate brownies, a lot of pie, 4 cans of pop..we walked to 7 eleven and Sobey's (that's where we bought the pie). then we went to the train station and got on. Simone, and Paul and Kristyn came over and kristyn had to go in my room! hahaha! later that night was Survivor Bible study. exciting...MARA WAS THERE!! we talked about laura too.
Firsts of the day: courtney's house, kristyn at mine, going in the new Ford, Mara at Bible Study...and CINNAMON BUNS!
Friday, March 31st-I went to Anderson Station to meet up with Robbie (a friend from school), and there was a funny guy who thought he knew me and hugged me. it was great. then Robbie and I went to Petcetera and Toys R Us, and we went in the toy houses. We also went in a dollar store and to KFC then walked around southland. Talked on the phone with Maegan
Firsts of the day: Hanging out with Rob outside of school, being hugged by a random person, going IN the toy houses.
Saturday, April 1st-Kim and Ian's dad died of a heart attack in the morning. I went to Jenni's house to watch Grease. Jess was there aswell. I had a sooper time on msn with lauren, hanging spoons from my nose, yawning and laughing maniacally. Youth group was at Lloyd's, I was the only one there though. Peter and Amanda and I had a fabulous time. I also worked on homework.
Firsts of the day: first time at Jenni's this year, seeing jess, going to Lloyd's, being the only one at YG.
Sunday, April 2nd-I did Children's time at church...read The Engine That Could. Then we all went grocery shopping (all being my family, not the church) then i came home and i've talked on the phone with Jesse and I've been working on legal studies for a lot of the day.
Firsts of the day: children's time, shopping with all 4 of us.
